RASSET ADVENTURES was founded five years ago by Steve.A , a Kenyan-born travel enthusiast with a deep-rooted passion for exploration, nature, and African landscapes. Growing up surrounded by Kenya's rich natural beauty, Steve developed an early curiosity for travel through small hiking experiences and outdoor adventures, which gradually grew into a lifelong calling. His passion for discovery led him to pursue formal studies in Wildlife and Tourism Management, where he gained a strong academic foundation in conservation, safari operations, and sustainable tourism practices. While studying, he actively continued exploring East Africa, visiting numerous national parks, cultural sites, and remote destinations across the region.

Driven by a desire to truly understand Africa's diverse landscapes, Steve challenged himself by conquering some of the continent's most iconic peaks, including Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Ol Doinyo Lengai in Tanzania, and Mount Kenya in Kenya. These experiences not only strengthened his resilience and leadership but also deepened his appreciation for Africa's natural heritage. Inspired by these journeys, he envisioned a company that would go beyond ordinary tours one that would connect travelers to authentic African experiences while promoting conservation, culture, and community engagement. This vision led to the birth of Rasset Adventures.
