We did this as a private 5-day trek with our family of three. The views were stunning, the guides were great and we made it to the summit. The food was also really good and we even got to try some Mountain water and cooked on the trail. Highly recommended if you're looking for a challenge. I really enjoyed the trek to Point Lenana, the highest point of Mount Kenya that can be reached without technical climbing. The atmosphere there is otherworldly, with glaciers, rocks and an alpine desert. Watching the sunrise from there was an unforgettable moment.
