Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, allowing time to relax and recover from your journey.
Optional visits to the Giraffe Centre and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust can be arranged upon request for an introduction to Kenya's unique wildlife conservation efforts.

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli

After breakfast, meet your driver-guide for a short safari briefing before departing for Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and take a moment to relax and unwind. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience, offering insight into local traditions and lifestyle. Later, enjoy an optional evening game drive in Amboseli, known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, before returning to your lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli Full Day

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park with extended morning and midday game drives, maximizing your chances of spotting elephants, predators, and a variety of plains game. Enjoy a unique bush lunch in the park, surrounded by the wild and scenic landscapes. Take in the magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, best seen during the early morning hours. Continue with game viewing before returning to the camp between early afternoon and early evening for relaxation.

Day 4: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru via Lake Naivasha

After an early breakfast, you will depart and drive to Lake Naivasha via Nairobi, with lunch en route. On arrival, enjoy a one-hour boat ride on the freshwater lake, offering excellent birdwatching and views of hippos along the shores.
You will then proceed in the afternoon to Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake is often tinted a shimmering pink by thousands of flamingos that gather along its shores, creating a spectacular natural display.
Later, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru Full Day

Enjoy a half-day game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, a renowned wildlife sanctuary set around a scenic alkaline lake. The park is famous for its flamingos, rhino population, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. Explore the acacia woodlands, open savannah, and lake shores while enjoying excellent photographic opportunities and guided wildlife viewing.
Optional to extend or go back to lodge for relaxation.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart for the Maasai Mara, journeying through Kenya's fertile highlands and descending the dramatic Great Rift Escarpment along a historic road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Along the way, view the charming chapel they constructed at the base of the escarpment and pass the impressive Longonot Earth Satellite Station. Continue across the Great Rift Valley via Narok, traveling through vast wheat and barley farmlands before arriving at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive, offering an introduction to the park's rich wildlife and sweeping savannah landscapes.

Day 7: Full Day Maasai Mara

Begin your day with a refreshing morning tea or coffee at the camp before setting out on an early game drive with a packed bush breakfast. As the savannah awakens, enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing in one of Africa's most iconic safari destinations. Return to the camp for lunch and relaxation until late afternoon.
At around 4:00 PM, depart for an optional afternoon game drive, where you may choose to explore further wildlife sightings or simply enjoy the golden sunset over the plains. The Maasai Mara forms part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem and is world-renowned for its rich biodiversity, including large populations of lions'often seen with their impressive black-maned males.
During the migration season, witness the spectacular movement of over 1.5 million wildebeest and other herbivores as they cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures, a dramatic display of survival in the wild. The reserve is also home to elephants, buffaloes, and'with some luck'leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos, completing the iconic Big Five experience.
In the evening, opt for a cultural visit to a Maasai village, offering insight into the traditions and lifestyle of the Maasai people.

Day 8: Return to Nairobi and Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, depart for Nairobi with a scenic drive back to the city, arriving in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you may enjoy an optional farewell lunch or dinner at a restaurant in Nairobi, depending on your flight schedule.
Later, you will be transferred to the airport or terminal in time for your onward international flight, marking the end of your safari experience.
