Start your safari with a unique wildlife conservation experience in Nairobi. Visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the world-famous elephant orphanage dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned baby elephants. During the scheduled visiting hour, watch the young elephants being bottle-fed, playing in the mud, and learning survival skills as keepers share their touching rescue stories. Later, proceed to the Giraffe Centre, a renowned conservation facility focused on protecting the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Enjoy close-up encounters as you hand-feed giraffes from a raised platform, capture memorable photos, and even experience the famous giraffe kiss.Guests may also take a short guided nature walk through the sanctuary. After an early breakfast, depart from Nairobi for a scenic drive to Tsavo West National Park, one of Kenya's most dramatic and diverse safari destinations. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by a short rest before your first exciting game drive. In the afternoon, head out for an evening game drive across lava flows, rolling hills, volcanic landscapes, and acacia woodlands. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, antelope, and other wildlife. After an early morning departure, journey to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch while taking in the spectacular scenery. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village (Manyatta) for an authentic cultural experience. Enjoy traditional dances, songs, visits to local homes, and insights into the Maasai way of life. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase handmade local crafts. After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge or camp before heading out for a late afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhino sanctuary and birdlife. Look out for both black and white rhinos, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and seasonal flamingos along the lake shores. After an exciting afternoon safari, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, concluding another unforgettable chapter of your Kenyan wildlife adventure.
After breakfast, you'll travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and head down the Rift Escarpment on the road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Look for the charming chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. You'll pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the Valley to Narok, and then travel across acres of wheat and barley fields before you reach the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. There will be an afternoon game drive to introduce you to the park.
Begin your day with a refreshing morning tea or coffee at the camp, and then set out with a packed bush breakfast for a captivating morning game drive, where you'll witness the savanna coming to life. Return to the camp for lunch, and take it easy until 4 o'clock. In the afternoon, you can choose to embark on another game drive, savor the mesmerizing sunset, or simply relax at the camp. The Maasai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south, renowned for its abundant lion population, especially the striking black-maned males. Witness the Great Migration, an awe-inspiring spectacle where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes cross the vast Mara River, showcasing the constant battle for survival in the savanna. In this area, you're also likely to encounter numerous elephants, often in sizable herds, and if luck is on your side, you might spot leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos. All members of the Big Five call this place home, and the African buffalo is quite sociable, so you're sure to meet a few. Don't forget your cameras to capture these incredible moments! After a leisurely breakfast, you'll head back to Nairobi and arrive in the afternoon. You can either enjoy a farewell lunch or dinner in the city (optional). Finally, you'll be transferred to the terminal for your flight as per your schedule.
