Your unforgettable Kenya and Tanzania safari adventure comes to a beautiful end.
Signature safaris in Kenya center on the Masai Mara in the southwest, while Tanzania’s prime locations are the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in the north, all sharing the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. These are easily connected via flights from Nairobi (Kenya) or Arusha/Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), with the Kenya-Tanzania border crossing near the Mara/Serengeti allowing combined itineraries.
A typical 8- to 12-day Kenya-Tanzania safari combines 2–3 days in the Masai Mara, 3–4 days in the Serengeti, and 2–3 days in the Ngorongoro Crater, often with a stop at Lake Manyara or Tarangire, using fly-in or road-transfer itineraries. Many travelers start in Nairobi (Kenya), spend time in the Mara, then fly or drive to the border area for Tanzania’s northern circuit, or vice versa, depending on migration timing, flight ease, and lodge availability.
Travelers consistently rate combined Kenya-Tanzania signature safaris as a "bucket-list dream," praising the seamless experience of witnessing the Great Migration in both the Masai Mara and Serengeti. Guests rave about expert guides, incredible Big Five sightings, and the thrill of river crossings, calling it the ultimate East African wildlife adventure.
