  • Wildebeest Migration in Tanzania Showcase

Overview

Witness the greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth as over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle thunder across the endless plains of Tanzania's Serengeti on a year-round circular migration. Key events include the calving season (January–March) in the southern Ndutu plains, where half a million calves are born amid intense predator action, followed by dramatic Grumeti River crossings (June–July) featuring massive Nile crocodiles. The herds then push north towards the Mara River (July–October), offering more thrilling crossings before circling back south. Stay in mobile tented camps that track the herds across the Serengeti, ensuring a front-row seat to this ancient, unscripted drama from birth to river battles.
